![]() If that doesn't make the encounter scary enough, the minion in this fight, The Leviathan's Hand, moves your Heroes around with impunity and can even remove one of them from the fight altogether. The Leviathan is a moderately tanky boss with stress-stacking capabilities, high action economy, and the ability to ignore Dodge and Stealth tokens with most of its abilities. The Lair of this region is The Sacred Pier, home to The Leviathan. With this in mind, you'll need to take care when using Heroes that are particularly vulnerable to being moved, such as the mighty Leper. As a rule, the Fisherfolk faction have low to middling resistance across the board and focus on abilities that move your heroes out of position. ![]() Fisherfolkįisherfolk are warped humanoid enemies with barnacle-like growths and fishy features. The dominant enemy faction in this zone is Fisherfolk. You'll find destroyed piers, barnacles, and sand as you drive through it. One of these regions, The Shroud, is coastal-themed. Run 6-8 heroes, swapping out some occasionally to heal stress or lock positive quirks.In Darkest Dungeon 2, players will receive a choice between two of the five traversable regions at each inn. This makes runs even smoother.Īlternatively you can go to Warrens and do this as well, using torches on scrolls. As you level up, your heroes are carrying optimized positive quirks and minimal negative ones. You can encounter 4+ corals in a run if you're lucky. ![]() This saves a lot of time- the coral quirk removal is random but much cheaper and FASTER. If a hero rolls a good positive quirk then set him aside to lock it early and simultaneously remove any other bad quirk. Bring herbs (some heroes come with them which saves money) and use coral to remove negative quirk. Take them in the Cove if a apprentice run is available. I've been in the process of leveling up newer heroes to throw them in the Darkest Dungeon and have developed a strategy:
